Angelo’s Coal Fired Pizza in Quincy Center has closed.

At this time it is not known why one of the relatively few options for coal-fired pizza in the Greater Boston area closed, much less what might become of the space.

Angelo’s Coal Fired Pizza first opened in the fall of 2014, taking over the space where Remick’s restaurant had been, and before that, Finian’s restaurant.

Say what?!?!”

In any event, Quincy Center’s long-
touted by Quincy’s well-known gourmand in chief new restaurant renaissance looks to continue to be taking hits when it comes to these new restaurants actually enjoying consequential as well as lasting commercial success.
