Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Things go quiet, only to then get noisy again in the Q.

While things have yet again heated up in Washington DC over the latest Trumpian incident, it had been “relatively” quiet in Quincy until Thursday morning when Quincy Point residents were disturbed shortly after sunrise by the sound of newscopter blades beating the air overhead so as to be able to score video for the morning news, if not also the evening news.

The reason for the low flying aircraft: a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on Southern Artery shortly after daybreak near Quirk Ford and the Dunkin’ Donuts on the other side of the street.

What is known at this point is that the struck pedestrian is a thirty-six year old male who has been transported to Boston Medical Center and is in critical condition.

So far, however, no word if the injured pedestrian was crossing the road either for or with a cuppa joe when he was struck.

In any event, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can be assured that something – if not many things – will be hitting the fan soon enough.
