MBTA finally releases video of Red Line Train derailment at JFK station.

As was at least generally predicted by the sage hands in Quincy Quarry’s newsroom as well as then made book by its touts, late Friday MBTA officials finally released security camera video of the destructive June 11 Red Line derailment at JFK station.

That and surely but coincidentally released he video of this train wreck during a usually slow summer weekend news cycle.

In any event, what Quincy Quarry’s forensic accident analysts found interesting about the video is how indifferent to the derailment were those waiting on the platform for a train, especially those who were focused on their smartphones.

Then again, not much surprises the typical and long-suffering Red Line strap hanger and as one can readily see in the following extended raw video taken both before and during the derailment (derailment commences at around the one minute point in the video).
