Dorchester Vietnam Veterans Memorial vandalized for second time

For the second time in less than a year, the Dorchester Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Boston has been vandalized.

The previous attack was in October of last year.

Authorities said the latest vandalism took place sometime Thursday afternoon.

Massachusetts State Police said landscaping was torn out of the ground, flags ripped down and thrown into a wooded area and hate-related graffiti – including a swastika – were inflicted upon the stone memorial which is located on property owned by the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Police are reviewing surveillance video as part of their investigation.

Here’s hoping that the perp(s) can be made.
