Boston has the second sexiest accent in United States?

A recent survey by Big 7 Travel found that the Boston accent is considered the second sexiest accent in the nation, behind only the “slow, Texan drawl.”

Texas?

In any event, Quincy Quarry agrees with its media brethren at the MASSterList.com that proud Bostonians may have stuffed this social-media survey ballot.

The Quarry also suspects New Yorkers of stuffing the ballot as it come in third whereas the nearby Long Island and New Jersey accents ranked 50th and 49th, respectively.

And as for another curious poll ranking, the Philadelphia accent ranked a similarly suspect 8th on the list.
