Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Same old same old, different week …
Quincy Quarry’s recent online layout makeover is mostly completed with but minimal pain other than to the Quarry’s already wicked over budget Fiscal Year 2019 adult beverages Fiscal Year 2019 budget.
Speaking of busting budgets as well as more of the same old same old, the Koch Maladministration is continuing to carry the water for favored developers’ seeing even more tens of millions in taxpayers’ funded in incentives so as to encourage these developers built their projects in Quincy Center and probably make themselves even more wealthy.
Then again, why should anyone be surprised as Kochonomics is – among other things – predicated upon trickle up economics?
That and creative tax breaks for favored developers.
Conversely, the City of Worcester looks to be leaving Quincy in the dust as Wusta continues to make great strides to revitalize its city center. Plus, unlike Quincy, not only is Worcester the home of not just one hospital but two offering 24/7/365 emergency room services but also hosts a handful of other specialized hospitals as well as the University of Massachusetts’ only medical school.

But then, Quincy is home to something Worcester does not have: Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s Dancing Waters.
Needless to say, those wishing to scrounge up some coins and so able to buy a pack of smokes are pleased to see the refilling of Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s not just one, not just two, but three water fountains!
On the down side, however, KKatie’s Burger Bar flew the Q.
As such, the death watch now moves on to watching to see which restaurant on and around Quincy Center’s over-hyped Restaurant Row is the next to be Q’ed.
Bon Appétit!
That and feel free to joint QQ’s betting pool.
