Which Democrats are running in 2020 – and who still might.

 

More than two dozen Democrats may end up running for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination and so become the party’s standard bearer in the 2020 general election.

They include senators, governors, business leaders, a mayor, and even a New Age spiritual guru whose previous bid for a federal elected office resulted in a fourth place finish well out of the money in the Democratic primary even after spending two million dollars on her campaign.

 

Needless to say, a program roster can only help one keep track of who is whom and thankfully NPR has published one.

While making no promises, Quincy Quarry in turn cannot help but suspect that the 2020 Democratic field of presidential nominees will include at least a few flops that will make the 2016 disastrous bids of Republicans Jeb! Bush and Marco Rubio look at least a bit less bad.
