Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: The cold is on?
After weeks of things looking to be ramping up for winter, it looks as if Quincy is finally going to experience a consequential snowfall.
Or maybe not as the government meteorologists are among those impacted by the now record-setting partial government shutdown.
.
Granted, meteorological data are still being collected; however, the analysis of the data is nowhere as rigorous as is usually the case.
In turn, such explains why televised weather news coverage has been more than a bit vague in recent days.
Fortunately, it appears that whatever may fall over the next few days is suspected to probably not be more than a modest snowfall. At least we should all hope so.
On other fronts, it would appear that perhaps the clock has started to count down on United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s fifteen minutes of fame.
After all, even the Boston Globe has criticized her over her bombastic Trumpian social media stylings, including all sorts of flat out misstatements of facts as well as miscellaneous displays of ignorance of things a Member of Congress should know.
For example, how the court system is one of the three branches of our government as opposed to her recently saying that the three branches consisted of the President, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

And on the local front, Quincy Center has yet again been hit with a chainsaw massacre.
Fortunately, Quincy Quarry has been able to share some good news.
In recent days, Quincy Quarry has featured coverage on goats ecologically recycling Christmas trees.
After all, goats eat just about anything green.
Additionally, the Quarry reprised the news of year another goat good news story: a “Goat” Fund Me drive has been launched to use goats to clear potentially incendiary undergrowth in wildfire-prone California.
Again, goats will eat just about anything.
