Quincy City Hall comes up short on honoring President George H. W. Bush?

While other media lazily focus on year end reviews, the latest nonsense out of Washington DC, and Massachusetts’ senior United States Senator Elizabeth Warren’s finally coming clean on her long-expected run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination during the year end holiday season, Quincy Quarry is finishing 2018 with yet another hard-hitting exposé.

While out and about on the ever-increasingly mean streets of the Q over the weekend, intrepid Quincy Quarry personnel found City Hall’s flags were not duly set at half staff to honor the recently departed and widely beloved forty-first President of the United States George Hebert Walker Bush.

The mayor loves marching in Flag Day parades

Granted, neither were City Hall’s flags exactly fully raised either.

Regardless, given that the flags are right outside of Quincy Mayor Koch’s office suite windows and he himself is a huge fan of Quincy’s Flag Day parade, such clear variance from proper protocols is at least curiously disconcerting

At least it is to Quincy Quarry in light of two other recent Quarry exposes on the Koch Maladministration’s curious handling of memorials and commemorations of locals as well as local organizations.

Plus, as well as clearly, other local City facilities as well as private parties were found to be duly honoring the now late President George H. W. Bush.

Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to City Hall for comment, however, it had no interest in perhaps hearing yet another load of spin which this time might purport that not fully raised was half-staffed as opposed to simply half-*ssed.
