Memorial bricks dumped by City of Quincy

Earlier this week, Quincy Quarry looks to have been the first media to exposé that the Koch Maladministration has dumped en masse memorial bricks into a landfill mass burial site on city property.

In the wake of the Quarry coverage, considerable outrage expressed on social media, and follow up coverage by the South Shore broadsheet, Koch Maladministration spokesmodel Pinocchio Walkbacker unarguably confirmed that he has no shame by calling the unannounced dumping of the remaining memorial bricks en masse into a landfill was “recycling” them, Quincy Quarry has exposéd another sort of cover-up.

The new cover-up entails recycling old commemorative plaques honoring decades ago donations of streetlights onto newer ones along the route of the Hancock Street Misalignment Project in Quincy Center.

Intrepid Quincy Quarry personnel out and about on the ever-increasingly mean as well as now also cold streets of Quincy found over two dozen old commemorative plaques dating back to 1990 affixed to new streetlights installed roughly a year ago in and around Quincy Square near City Hall.

One can only assume that the Koch Maladministration figures its doing so was perfectly OK even if a federal grant secured by the Phelan Administration funded the eventual misalignment project resulted in the federal tax dollars probably paid for the replacement new streetlights.

Money to burn …
A cheat-sheet.com image

Likely rationales for such a curious rationalization include how the Team Joch has long failed to acknowledge the fact that federal and state funding provided to Quincy are ultimately the return of state and federal tax money paid by locals for use locally and thus City Hall apparently instead views the new streetlights as basically free.

And in turn, why the Q have the decades-old streetlight donation commemorative plaques been recycled on the brand new streetlights?

That and if public outrage over this latest Koch Maladministration Q-up metastasizes,  La Kocha Nostra can always fall back to its past favorite practice of blaming the now eleven years gone previous administration in City Hall given that Phelan secured the federal road construction grant even if Team Joch then saw to the implementation of the actual construction work done years later.

Even so, there is still the undeniable fact that a number of long-gone organizations do not have any plausible ties to the new streetlights.  Then again, neither do a number of the still in operation entities.

On the other hand, one can see how the Koch Maladministration might care to curry favor with those still around local entities, especially in the wake of past serious as well as variously expensive problems involving certain of those tied to all manner of problematic donations.

That and also be able to keep scoring low prices on new City VIP rides.

After all, with power comes the potential to score personal perks on the taxpayers’ dime.

Lots of dimes.

Wheelbarrows full of dimes as a matter of unarguable fact.

Then again, Quincy’s City Hall has long been under the influence.

That and how the Koch Maladministration has thus long been cannon folder for Quincy Quarry News.

Actually, more like blasting away at ducks in a barrel with a howitzer.

Accordingly, count on Quincy Quarry to continue to both dig up and then dish out the dirt.
