Quincy police are investigating an early morning Christmas Day stabbing that left a man injured.

The stabbing is said to have been reported shortly after midnight at a manner of shared residential building on Hersey Place adjacent to the 500 block of Washington Street in the Quincy Point neighborhood.

The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police said that they searching for a 29-year-old Quincy man in connection with the stabbing.
