Logan Airport Is the Best in the Nation?

Seriously, the Transportation Security Administration has named Logan Airport as its Airport of the Year.

Let’s face it, the security screening process is not fun. But, comparatively speaking, if you’re going to do it, you could do a lot worse than Boston’s Logan Airport — at least according to the TSA.

 

According to the TSA, Boston had the shortest wait times in the nation this summer, at about 9.58 minutes, despite Logan’s status as among the country’s fastest-growing airports.

 

Logan has also been a testing ground for new security technology.

Additionally, its security personal managed to find a record number of firearms at the airport during Fiscal Year 2018 as well as survived its busiest day of all time, April 13 – and yes, it was a Friday – when seventy-five thousand travelers winged their way through Logan.
