Abigail and John Quincy are homeless

Abigail and John Quincy are homeless.

For all of the close to several tens of millions spent on the just opened Kim Jong Koch Plaza between City Hall and the Church of the President, apparently no consideration was duly accorded t0 the First Lady of Braintree, Quincy as well as the United States.

Neither was her son President John Quincy Adams and thus both he and Abigail were kicked to the curb in favor of John Hancock who but lived in Quincy during his early childhood before permanently moving to Boston at the tender age of seven to live with relatives after his father’s death.

While the Koch Maladministration has announced that plans are in the works to move the beloved matching pair of statues of John Adams and the one of Abigail with John Quincy to somewhere on Adams National Historical Park property somewhere in Quincy; however, apparently actual plans have not been arranged, much less consummated.

Even worse, care of a well-placed Quincy Quarry source, not only have plans not been set to relocate these much beloved statues to somewhere fitting in spite of having many months – if not years –  to have done so, there has also been talk of splitting up the two statues even though they were both artfully and thoughtfully designed as an evocative matched set.

Needless to say, count on Quincy Quarry to follow this story about homeless as we head into a New England winter.
