Massachusetts Primary Election Results.

 

See final election results from yesterday’s Massachusetts primary elections care of the New York Time and which appears to be the only new media to e-pubish the numbers.

As for the results, there were a few unexpected outcomes even if most races maintained the status quo for most incumbents as well as especially for the Democratic party.

 

One surprise was a walkaway win by Democratic progressive challenger Ayanna Pressley over ten term United States House of Representative member and equally liberal Michael Capuano.

And in state office races, two liberal Democratic State House Representatives representing Boston districts. 

 

Both ousted incumbents were senior lieutenants of State House of Representatives Speaker of the House Robert Deleo, with one first elected in 1982 and thus in his eighteenth term in office.

In turn, while Republican office holder in Massachusetts are looking to continue to worthy of consideration as endangered species, Quincy Quarry suspects a food fight may soon be impending between more traditional liberal Democrats incumbents and über liberal progressive Democrats.

 

Regardless, expect Quarry Quarry to follow what few truly to be contested races in the coming weeks until the November elections.
