President Trump’s disapproval rating hits new high.

 

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll found that President Donald Trump’s public opinion ratings continue to explore new territory.

 

Negative territory.

 

Sixty percent in the national survey disapprove of President Trump’s performance in office, numerically the highest disapproval rating of his presidency, albeit by only a single point.

At the same time, 53 percent disapprove strongly, more than half for the first time; conversely, only thirty-six percent approve, matching his previous low. 

 

Further problematic for President Trump, 63 percent voiced support for the unimpeded continuation of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and 64 percent said that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should not be fired.
