Manafort juror reveals lone holdout prevented Mueller team from winning conviction on all counts.

Ms. Duncan further revealed that while she is an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump and thus was hoping the prosecution’s case was not compelling, it was beyond a reasonable doubt for her to vote to convict on all eighteen counts.

Prosecutors were not reached for comment.

However, as Manafort had been held in custody before his trial after his bail was revoked for attempting to tamper with witnesses for the prosecution, it is only reasonably assume that the feds are currently at least pondering the possibility of jury tampering, especially as the Manafort jury was not sequestered during the trial.

That or at least revisiting their vori dire strategy for Manafort’s upcoming second trial.
