Melania Trump America’s biggest loser?

And yet all the while surely many people have thought that Hillary Clinton was America’s biggest loser.

After all, not only did Hillary lose to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, she is still married to Bill Clinton and who has quite a history of his own as regards straying as well as often.

Wicked often.

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner suggested during an interview on Thursday that First Lady Melania Trump “doesn’t look real happy” in her position at the White House because her husband likely promised her that he would never win the presidency.

Boehner was speaking at the annual Mackinac Policy Conference in Michigan.

“I think Donald Trump promised Melania that he would not win, (and, ed.) she didn’t have to worry about ever living in the White House,” said the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“It’s probably why she doesn’t look real happy every day – well, maybe one reason.”

Boehner also said that despite Donald Trump being one of his vocal backers when he was in Congress, he had never imagined the brash real estate tycoon would ever reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“Donald Trump, who I know well, was one of my supporters when I was speaker,” Boehner explained. “I was having a rough week. Trump would call me, pat me on the back, cheer me up. Played a lot of golf together.”
