Jimmy Carter rips Donald Trump: Apparently, America wants a jerk for president.

 

Former President Jimmy Carter took a shot at President Donald Trump on Friday’s broadcast of The Late Show with David Colbert.

 

When host Stephen Colbert asked Carter whether America really “wants a jerk as president,” Carter replied “apparently, from this recent election year. I never knew it before.”

 

 

Even so, President Carter then added that he prays for President Trump as well as that he does the right thing as opposed to doing just right wing things.
