Stormy Daniels yet again spanks Donald Trump and The New York Times goes tabloid.

How stormy are things for President Trump in the wake of Stormy Daniels’ interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes?

Well, for starters, The Gray Lady – better known as the New York Times – has opted for all but nonstop as well as near-tabloid coverage of just about all matters Stormy.

In an opinion piece, the New York Times opined that Ms. Daniels’ countersuit could exposé thuggery undertaken to protect now-President Trump.

In other coverage, the New York Times feted her for out-Trumping Trump with her performance during her 60 Minutes interview with a right back at her denigraters bravura performance.

Granted, Ms. Daniels has considerable experience faking it; however, Quincy Quarry must only properly note that this time she both had an extended extemporaneous speaking role as well as kept her clothes on throughout this prime time televised video.

Then again, it must be conceded that Anderson Cooper was arguably the perfect male news media figure to be interviewing her.

How effective was her performance on 60 Minutes?

The New York Times noted that Stormy and former Playboy Centerfold Karen McDougal are the only two people problematic for President Trump who have not been subject to one of his Twitter storms.

At least not so far, that is.

The New York Times also provided separate coverage that 60 Minutes enjoyed the highest number of viewers it has enjoyed over the past decade.

Even worse, however, Stormy’s 60 Minutes interview only underscores a previous opinion piece in the Times which opined that this particular tawdry affair is only going to lock in public opinion that not only is nothing beneath President Trump in general, but also when it comes to endeavoring to cover up his degeneracy.

And finally, The New York Times further covered what Late Night talk shows had to say last night.

For example, Stephen Colbert – and who arguably made a career for himself working the concept of “truthiness” – said that “it all felt true.”

Then again, Colbert also noted that this was “… (t)he least surprising story I have ever heard.”

Even so, Mr. Colbert did spot some potential positive to be had from the interview:

“Hmmmm …  a couple of spanks and Donald Trump started acting more appropriately.   (White House Chief of Staff, ed.) John Kelly, you know what to do!”
