State Senator Michael Brady charged with drunken driving in Weymouth.
Yet another South of Boston senior elected official has found himself in trouble while purportedly operating under the influence of alcohol.
State Senator Michael Brady (Democrat, Brockton) was arrested in Weymouth over the weekend for allegedly driving drunk while on his way home, according to his office and the Quincy District Court.
Brady, a two-term state senator representing Brockton, was said to be on his way home in the early morning hours of Saturday when he was stopped by Weymouth police on Route 18 in South Weymouth and then placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Senator Brady was released from custody later Saturday morning, and then arraigned on Monday in Quincy District Court.
Apparently, “do you know who I am” wasn’t working with the Weymouth Police Department in this particular situation.

All he had to do was make it down 18 a little further into Whitman and he could have been in district with a PD that would have listened to his tale of woe. Always best for these guys to get pulled over in district. Wonder how many times Brockton PD drove him home.
Maybe he’ll run into Greg at QDC.
