State Trooper on leave, accused of being drunk during shift.

 

A Massachusetts State Police trooper is on administrative leave after he was allegedly drunk on the job.

 

The trooper reported for duty at 11 PM on St. Patrick’s Day and was relieved of duty around closing time a few hours later.

 

Ponder the irony of a state trooper being so bagged on the biggest amateur night of the year in the Greater Boston metro area even if this is but a relatively minor scandal among the many which have hit the scandal-plagued Massachusetts State Police in recent months.
