Nor’easter officially declared a blizzard in Boston by the National Weather Service.

At approximately 12:30 PM today, the National Weather Service announced that today’s storm had meet the official criteria to be declared a blizzard.

Unfortunately for the many millions who are hunkered down for the duration, the Blizzard of 2018, the storm formerly known as Skylar, is expected to continue to rage on until well into this evening.

Already hundreds of thousands of utility customers have lost power and will remain in the dark until repairs efforts can commence after the storm by already exhausted utility company workers.
