President Trump facing even more stormy weather care of Stormy?

Stormy Daniels, the adult film performer who claims she had an affair with then citizen Donald Trump a dozen years ago, threatened to call off a nondisclosure agreement about the putative affair just weeks before the 2016 elections.

The reason: Donald Trump’s attorney had failed to fork over the money on time as promised per typical lawyerly practice.

On October 17, 2016 and thus but several weeks before the 2016 Presidential election, Ms. Daniels’ attorney threatened to call off the deal by the end of the day.

While Trump’s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen had created a shell company to send move the money that morning, the money never arrived,The Washington Post reported.

Later that same day, Keith Davidson wrote, “Please be advised that my client deems her settlement agreement canceled and voided.”

It wasn’t until ten days later — and thus just twelve days before the election — that $130,000 was transferred from Essential Consultants LLC to a client-trust account benefiting Ms. Daniels.

Busted over a big bust?

Research group American Bridge and a government watchdog group Common Cause have since filed complaints to the Federal Election Commission alleging the payment breaks campaign finance laws because it was not reported as an in-kind contribution.

Two other FEC complaints surround a reported $150,000 payment American Media made to a former Playboy model in what appears to be an attempt to catch and kill her story about a nine-month affair with Trump.

#Free Melania?

On Friday, members of the United State House of Representatives Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) and Kathleen Rice (D-NY) called for an FBI investigation into the payments, calling them “evidence of moral failings by the President.”

Obviously, Representatives Lieu and Rice live sheltered lives or at least do not read tabloids.
