Sea Street hit with haz mat incident during storm.

Courtesy of a Quincy Quarry Citizen Photojournalist, the Quarry was advised of a hazardous materials spill in Hough’s Neck during today’s storm.

Fortunately, the spill occurred in front of the Quincy Fire Department’s Hough’s Neck station – local firefighters are trained to be Quincy’s haz mat event first responders.

Quincy Quarry considered asking for comment from the fire department about this hazardous event; however, given the storm, it was decided that local first responders are already busy enough.
