Busted Traffic Light Clean-up
A Quincy Quarry News photo

– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.

Quincy Center traffic light now more busted – Part II of a new continuing series.

While recently out and about shortly after sunrise on the normally increasingly mean streets of Quincy, Quincy Quarry News personnel happened upon a clean-up as opposed to yet another cover-up.

As Quarry readers will recall, Quincy Quarry has been dogging the City of Quincy’s somewhat new and forever awkwardly named Department of Traffic, Parking, Alarm and Light (“TPAL”) since this traffic light pole was apparently first whacked last June and then more recently subjected to further damage.

Apparently, Quincy Quarry’s efforts may have given rise to seeing actions finally undertaken.

While a full repair of the damage has yet to be made, at least at this point the pieces broken off of this traffic light pole’s base have finally been cleared.

Unclear, however, is if TPAL’s new commissioner may have had a role in this modest clean-up effort.

Quincy Quarry considered making an inquiry; however, it saw no point in ending up left interminably on hold.

Even so, what is clear is that Quincy Quarry knows that the new TPAL Commissioner has long been a Quincy Quarry reader and is thus more likely to better know what is actually going wrong on the ever-increasingly mean streets of the Q.
