Weather forecast worsening for Eastern Massachusetts.

As roadkill only gets flatter, so too do snow drifts only become deeper whenever a weather forecast start out uncertain and then keeps worsening.

Current expected snowfall in the Quincy area has increased to eight to twelve inches this beginning this coming Thursday and continuing into Friday. 

Even worse, temperatures are again expected to plunge back to arctic conditions over the weekend after the approaching near-blizzard blows out of the area.

Of particular concern, supermarkets appear to have not had enough time to lay in extra supplies of bread and milk in time for tomorrow’s sure to be expected deluge of grocery shoppers stocking up as if we were facing The End Time.

That and at least a couple of school snow days should be expected for parents who just today saw their children head back to school after the long Christmas vacation.

Regardless, expect Quincy Quarry to brave the inclement weather and so continue to report on the recent run of brutally cold weather.
