Mattapan Trolley collision, multiple passengers injured.
In the wake of Quincy Quarry’s reporting of widespread MBTA subway, bus and Commuter Rail service disruptions early yesterday, at least 17 people were injured when two Mattapan Trolleys collided late Friday afternoon.
In turn, this late breaking accident gave rise to consequential service disruptions throughout all of the T’s rail line service during yesterday’s bitter cold.
In turn, one can only fear for more of the same as local temperatures are forecast to remain below freezing as well as bitterly cold at times for at least eight more days.
At best, some modest less cold weather is forecast for no earlier than Monday, January 8 and which is the same day that Quincy’s Red Line station at Wollaston Center is slated to close for (at least, ed.) twenty months for its reconstruction.
Needless to say, count on Quincy Quarry as well as its media brethren to report on the T hitting the Q on the eighth.
