Quincy City Hall thoroughly plowed yet again – the rest of Quincy not so much.

As the ever-growing legion of loyal Quincy Quarry readers know, the Quincy Quarry news crew covers the the ever-increasing mean streets of the Q and especially when it comes to snow jobs.

In turn, things played out as one can only reasonable expect in the wake of yesterday’s well-forecast several inch local snowfall that provided the Q with a White Christmas white out.

And as for the day after a White Christmas, at first light this morning Quincy Quarry news personnel found local plowing variable – at best.

Of particular concern was how one vitally important local First Responder facility was stuck with snow-covered pavement.

While main roadways at daybreak this morning were generally in good shape, it is only far to note that yesterday’s snow was officially less than three inches as well as light and fluffy easy to clear snow.

Side streets, however, were generally in less to much less than great shape.  Frequently, as well as at best, one plow run and done seemed to be the norm.

Quincy Quarry Citizen Traffic Reporter Journalists around the Q report that many streets in North Quincy are essentially hockey rinks, Quincy Center variable at best and Houghs Neck hopelessly plowed.

Then again, woefully plowed in the Nek is nothing new.

City Hall, however, was found to be in its usual thoroughly plowed shape.

Obviously, the City Hall Christmas Party egg nog kept over three and half day City Hall Christmas Holiday weekend.
