Las Vegas shooter kills at least fifty.

 

A shooting at a music festival on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night killed at least fifty and wounded over four hundred.

 

Tens of thousands of frantic concert-goers screamed and ran for their lives.

While the body count is still a count in progress as well as surely a number of the wounded are clinging to life by a thread, this mass shooting is already the deadliest one in United States history.

 

Another breaking news update:  The Las Vegas gunman had 19 rifles in his hotel room, two on tripods at the windows, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition

Police said the man authorities think was the sole gunman was found dead on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

 

“We believe it’s a solo actor. A lone wolf,” said Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo.

 

Sheriff Lombardo added that the suspected gunman is a Las Vegas area resident.

 

Law enforcement sources added that a search warrant has been issued for the home of the suspected shooter, identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada.
