Quincy Primary Election Trafficking Report.

One would be hard pressed to know that today is an election day in Quincy.

Granted, it is but a off-year local election and primary election at that.

Even so, locals are largely blowing off their voting rights as a but 25% registered voter turnout is expected today and thus an even lower turnout by all of those who are eligible to vote.

Afghani lined up to vote

Conversely, in the wake of the Arab Spring, Afghani, Iranian, Iraqi and many other Middle Eastern citizens have repeatedly turned out in large percentages to vote even if such poses dire personal risk for doing so as well as with the knowledge that their elections are at least as easily as rigged as local elections were long unarguably vulnerable.

In any event, not only has local voter turnout been light, campaign trafficking sign standouts have been similarly meso-meso at best as photographically documented by intrepid Quincy Quarry News photographic team personal.

2 pm “Afternoon Delight” soliciting?

Even more troubling, however, are as an yet insufficiently vetted report that one at Large city council seat candidate was out soliciting for last minute votes at Atherton Hough School polling place shortly after the polls open this morning wearing a little green cocktail dress.

Among the things yet to confirmed about this currently but preliminary report include discerning if this was merely an egregious fashion faux pas or perhaps some sort of no other option morning after Walk of Shame situation.

Regardless, such a brazen display of soliciting is something that grammar school children should not be subjected to seeing at their school.

In any event, count on Quincy Quarry News to continue to cover this local primary election as only it has the stones to do.
