Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Violent attacks spree hits Quincy.

The long but not all that hot summer this summer turned violent in Quincy this past week as summer winds down to its unofficial Labor Day conclusion.

Knifings are currently the prime violent crime in the Q.

A City on the Move gets knifed, repeatedly …

Last Friday night there was a knifing in Quincy Center at the arguable center of what is supposed to eventually become the long and overly touted New Quincy Center.

Reports indicate the violence was ultimately a matter of after dark road rage with perhaps a dollop of a dispute over parking in parking-scarce Quincy Center as this knifing occurred in the City’s planned to soon be taken out of service public parking lot opposite Quincy District Court.

First responders out in force

While multiple stab wounds were inflicted, the victim is expected to make a full recovery other than most likely ending up with a few lingering scars.

A second knifing, however, was more dramatic.

Way more dramatic.

Not only did police and other first responders execute a massive response, this knifing occurred near Quincy City and the Quincy Center MBTA station just as the Wednesday evening commute was starting to abate.

Fortunately for the victim, his injuries were minor.

Unfortunately for the perp, however, he is apparently known to the vic and thus a relatively quick arrest should be expected.

Further unfortunate is what violence will next strike Quincy as everyone knows bad things happened in threes.

Even so, however, this week the Quincy Police Department put out a social media plea to an unknown party who has been actively using the department’s see something, say something phone app to back off on using this app.

And finally, in memorium:
