“Legal Basis” alleged to impeach Trump over his post Charlottesville comments.

 

In an opinion piece posted online on Law Newz on Wednesday, TV personality, purported good cook and lawyer Elura Nanos posted her view that President Trump’s post Charlotteville riot comments provide sufficient precedent for President Trump to be impeached.

Quincy Quarry has long offered balanced and fair commentary about as as well as coverage of the often unbalanced comments of  President Trump. 

 

Even so, the Quarry finds Attorney Nanos’ so-called brief a stretch. 

 

After all, if ill-advised comments made to the media were a viable basis to impeachment a president, the always well-meaning and all but invariably amiable but more than occasionally words-mangling former President George W. Bush likely never would have finished the first of his two terms in office.
