The Democrats’ biggest donor says the party is blowing it and should get behind Bernie Sander’s platform.

 

Democrats have yet to develop a compelling and positive message to channel the energy Senator Bernie Sanders generated on the campaign, according to the party’s top donor Tom Steyer.

Tom Steyer is a California hedge fund billionaire who spent a whopping $87 million on Democratic candidates and causes in 2016.

 

Among other things, Steyer is calling for single payer health care and addressing income inequality.

 

At the same time, however, Quincy Quarry is having trouble imaging Steyer queuing up in a waiting room with regular folk waiting for an annual physical, much less waiting to receive quick treatment for a not quite life threatening medical emergency and thus not a queue-jumping emergency.

 

That and giving away all of his billions.
