– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.

Election campaign silly season starts early this year in Quincy.

Given so far steadily increasing discontent among locals, this fall’s city council races are looking to be hard fought affairs.

Such, in turn, might explain why Quincy’s Number One Ward Heeler is hoping to break out of the Nek by running at Large.

Accordingly, why not start by shipping out for a photo op aboard the United States Coast Guard’s training ship Eagle, a barque-rigged tall ship that is participating in the Sail Boston 2017 Tall Ships gathering this weekend.

SO excited to be aboard THE Coast Guard Barque Eagle as she leads the Sail Boston Grand Parade of Sail with Kelsey Laforest.

While Quincy Quarry’s photographic team has to admit that the local self-proclaimed Social Media Queen would appear to perhaps be doing better at working camera angles, the SEO experts at the Quarry still continue to find her social media skills lacking.

On the other hand, one can only assume that at least some of the crew members of the Eagle noted her firm grip on a handle of the ship’s wheel.

As for the upcoming fall election, however, Quincy Quarry currently cannot help but wonder if the Number One Ward Heeler might end up wilting in the face of stiff competition.

Needless to say, expect Quincy Quarry to follow Election 2017 Quincy closely to its bitter end for a number of the campaigning contenders.
