Quincy evening commute Carmaggeddon ties up the Q.

While local residents know that local traffic as well as trafficking continue to worsen, last night’s evening commute was especially bad.

Per the live field reports of a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Journalist who was stuck in traffic, traffic was in near gridlock on streets and at intersections ranging from at least Quincy Center to Southern Artery as well as even further out on outer Sea Street.

So snarled was traffic that at a number of intersections only two or three cars might be able to follow through the intersection per each green light.

Again, such snarled up traffic is not uncommon in Quincy: however, what was so extraordinary was that it took this Quincy Quarry Citizen Journalist roughly forty-five minutes to travel but five miles from Hough’s Neck to just past the Braintree line on Independence Avenue while traveling largely in the OPPOSITE direction of evening commute traffic.

Quincy Quarry briefly considered reaching out to Quincy’s City Hall for comment, but saw no point in hearing yet another contrived excuse.
