Motion Sickness more likely in self-driving cars?
While personal injury attorneys are surely chomping at the bit, fully autonomous motor vehicles are likely to still be a few years yet to be arriving in new car show rooms.
Even so: “Not so fast” say human factors engineers.
The findings from a University of Michigan study suggests that upwards of twelve percent of adult no longer actually driving will utilizing an autonomously operating motor vehicle are likely to become carsick.
Amazingly, this finding was found without sampling the obvious sample pool of soccer moms who schlep kids around in their minivans and SUV’s.
Similarly likely to be clueless is the likelihood that product design teams are going to be unlikely to know to opt for a return to vinyl upholstery in impending autonomous vehicles.
