Boston Herald Reporters Are Boycotting Twitter to protest the company’s decision to suspend a reporter.

The underlying dispute is that the suspended reporter posted an exclusive bit of news about a fast breaking major story news without first running his exclusive by an editor.

 

While Quincy Quarry can readily appreciate both sides’ positions in this dispute, the Quarry itself resolves the underlying prime point of concern by insisting that its staff rely on qualifying adjectives and adverbs as well as artfully constructed vague innuendo so as to stave off any possible claims of libel or promulgating of Fake News.
