President Donald Trump signed a new executive order on Monday after his controversial first attempt to unilaterally as well as dramatically change US immigration policies and practices was blocked in the courts as well as widely protested in the streets and elsewhere.

 

Where’s Good King Canute when he’s needed?

This time around it would appear that President Trump’s do-over will likely survive most legal challenges.

 

At the same time, Quincy Quarry continues to feel that the President’s approach is all but doomed to failure when it comes to actually as well as successfully addressing the problems with current immigration law, policies and procedures that do so desperately need addressing.
