Pope suggests 'better to be atheist than hypocritical Catholic'

Pope Francis offered up criticism of some members of his own faith this past Thursday, suggesting it is better to be an atheist than be one of “many” Catholics who he said lead a hypocritical double life. 

 

Quincy Quarry finds great merit in what Pope Francis said as well as that it has both universal religious as well as ethical applicability.

 

That and how the Quarry has also long had its doubts about those who insist upon being up front at religious services regardless of their purported religious creed.
