Snow piled and flooded handicapped parking space
A Quincy Quarry News exclusive photo

Quincy continues to ignore the disabled.

After exposing a snow job citation unfairly inflicted upon a Quincy office building in a Quincy Quarry exclusive three part exposé, the Quarry is now moving onto monitoring the snow pile impacted and only public access handicapped parking space near Quincy’s City Hall other than those provided by the MBTA for its patrons at its Quincy Center MBTA station.

As is readily obvious to any MBTA straphanger, these MBTA disabled parking spaces have long been all but taken over by those waiting to pick up able commuters at the Quincy Center MBTA station.

In any event, as one can clearly see from an exclusive Quincy Quarry photograph, not only is the but one City of Quincy provided disabled curbside parking space that is somewhat close to City Hall snow piled, it is also a watery mess.

Empty City Hall VIP parking lot

Conversely, the VIP parking lot continues to be perfectly plowed and as at least some denizens of City Hall are suspected of occasionally being after work and over weekends.

Expect Quincy Quarry to report further on this long ongoing ignoring of the parking needs of the disabled during this week’s lovely run of warm weather to see Mother Nature do her thing to help out the less than able as the City of Quincy is not doing so.
