After lobbying hard to be named Secretary of Veterans Affairs in the Trump Administration, former US Senator Scott Brown was nominated by President Trump for the ambassadorship to New Zealand.

Given Brown’s penchant for baring it all, however, one has to wonder if naming him as Ambassador to more clothing informal and tropically balmy as well as even more remote Fiji would have been the better way to go.

Regardless, Brown is now slated to be about as far away from Washington DC as is physically possible until such time as a manned mission to Mars might be undertaken.

And as for the even more problematic question as to what to do with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Quincy Quarry would heartily endorse naming her US Chargé d’Affaires to Saint Helena.

After all, if Saint Helena worked out well with Napoleon, it should yet again with another megalomaniac.

In any event, if and when President Trump might possibly appoint Palin to a government position, Quincy Quarry’s every growing legions of loyal readers can be assured that the Quarry will cover this news as only it has the stones to do.
