Quincy Double Dipper final pre-trial conference court date set.

A currently suspended without pay Quincy police lieutenant is charged with defrauding the city, various businesses as well as the federal government of (at least, ed.) $11,000.00.

In an unexpected change of course, the arguably municipally stipulated Double Dipper as well as alleged occasional triple dipper is apparently now digging in with what should prove to be a most curious defense strategy.

In turn, this should be making a number of people – around a dozen at last report – nervous.

Very nervous.

For example, will there be home movies – or at least photographs – presented at trial as evidence of alleged illicit behavior involving both certain parties as well as certain parties within the Quincy Police Department?

In any event, a final pretrial status conference has been set for March 29, 2017. While a trial date has yet to be set, both sides expect that a trial would take ten days.

That and both the prosecution and the defense currently believe that a jury will decide Corliss’ fate.
