Quincy Center sideways street light finally replaced.

Will wonder ever cease?

Fourteen months after one of the newer and expensive wrought iron street lights along Hannon Parkway in Quincy Center was knocked sideways and so begat a near innumerable series of Quincy Quarry exposés about its long being left standing dangerously sideways, this long sideways street light has finally been replaced.

Quincy Quarry considered reaching to the new this fiscal year City of Quincy Traffic, Parking, Alarm and Lighting Department for comment; however, for some strange reason contact information for this department is still nowhere to be found on the City of Quincy’s website.

Still not replaced, however, are the several trees that have been struck and killed along this same deadly stretch of Hannon Parkway.

As such, the ever-growing legions of loyal Quincy Quarry readers can thus look forward to seeing a likely also long-running sequel series of exposés to the ran for a long time but now ending sideways street light series of exposés.
