Quincy Center sideways street light is still missing in action.

With the start of a New Year, Quincy Quarry opted to circle back to check on the status of a situation involving one of the Quarry’s longest running public safety series of exposés.

This long damaged street light has today entered its third calendar year out of service since Quincy Quarry first started covering this story in 2015.

Now you still don’t …

In spite of solemn promises by a longtime Koch Maladministration loyalist that he would see to it that more timely response to traffic, parking, alarm and light problems in Quincy would be more quickly addressed at the time of his promotion to be the head of this new city department and so enjoy an over 30% raise, things continue to instead look to be just more of the usual Koch and mirrors.

Then again, technically he has until around Presidents Day to see this street light finally replaced in a fashion quicker than it was not fixed during the former as well readily arguable ineffectual regime of City of Quincy Department of Public Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi.

Even so, Quincy Quarry is not recommending that any of its growing legions of loyal followers hold their breath while waiting to see this – or any other of the many knocked down street lights in the Q for that matter.

Quarry readers can, however, expect that Quincy Quarry will continue to exposé this long particular ongoing public safety problem among the many in the Q until it might eventually perhaps actually be rectified.
