Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Q-up’s keep falling upon the Q this fall.

While last weekend’s upset – if not also upsetting for many – win by The Donald provided City Hall with some distracting cover for its Q-up’s last week, no such luck this week.

Even worse, the Q-up’s continue pretty much at their historical rate of occurrence.

For example, the latest Q-ups in Quincy Center are “Speed Humps.” 

We’re not talking a euphemism from Dr. Ruth; rather, we’re talking about a couple of new and extra wide speed bumps masquerading as crosswalks in Quincy Center and which are supposed to both calm and slow traffic. 

So far, however, the actually as well as surely euphemistically named “Speed Tables” appear to have only underscored Massachusetts drivers’ reputation as the most irate drivers in the country.

That and all but completely stopping the traffic flow along the Hancock Street Misalignment Project, even it is all but impossible to actually discern if traffic along it has become even slower.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry has published a hard-hitting exposé about this latest dire threat to pedestrian safety in Quincy Center.

And as for the upcoming Thanksgiving Day festivities, do be sure to note that the Quarry will be covering the annual rivalry football game between Quincy High and North Quincy High. 

Needless to say, both teams should especially motivated this year as the loser of the game will be arguably the biggest loser South of Boston.

That and do count on the Quincy Quarry team covering the game to be wearing full body armor given the Quarry’s previous coverage about this year’s turkey of a Turkey Bowl in the Q.

As always, only Quincy Quarry has the stones to speak the truth about the Q.

After all, Quincy Quarry isn’t Google’s top ranked sources for new about Quincy without good as well as ample reasons.
