Quincy High School needled by needle.

While out on the ever increasingly mean streets of Quincy this week, Quincy Quarry News personnel happened up an all but assuredly used syringe lying in the middle of an intersection of adjacent to one of the two main entrances to Quincy High School.

Fortunately, this needle was in the middle of the street and thus unlikely to stick a passerby other than perhaps the tires of a passing car.

Even more fortunate, a Quincy Police Department K9 team was checking out nearby trees during a K9 relief break.

The human officer kindly responded in the affirmative to Quincy Quarry’s request to dispose of the needle.

After all, who wants to deal with a helicopter mom doing a nutty over a syringe disposed near a school?

Expect Quincy Quarry to continue to monitor Quincy’s among the very worst in the Commonwealth opiate abuse problems.
