Tewksbury Runaway Goat looking to run to the Q?
Another runaway goat is on the lam and Quincy Quarry has as a humanitarian gesture offered to help the goat seek asylum in Quincy.
After all, there are plenty of dead trees and other plants available for clearing as the Park and Forestry Department appears to be overwhelmed or incompetent or perhaps– if not also more likely – even both.
Hey #TewksburyGoat we embrace diversity in #QuincyMA Ima sure they will welcome you at @QuincyCollege https://t.co/RKhtmju3yh

Plus, goat grazing is a proven way to mitigate brush fires and given this year’s drought, the Q could use all the help it can get, especially the Quincy Fire Department personnel assigned to Quincy Fire Department Engine 5 in West Quincy who are (over, ed.) tasked with fighting wildfires fires in the Blue Hills Reservation.
In any event, the Tewksbury Goat is a smart old goat who seeks to improve his lot in life – or at least extend his life.
