Alfred the Pushy Swan causes a stir at German restaurant

Alfred the Pushy Swan is causing a stir in the German town of Essen Kettwig.

Apparently, the swan has pretty much taken up residence at a local restaurant.

While the restaurant’s staff say that they just provide water for Alfred, apparently patrons are sharing their meals with him and he has so become as obnoxious as a seagull fishing for a french fry along what is left of Nantasket Beach’s boardwalk.

Alfred is said to be especially pushy when it comes to ice cream.

Then again, Quincy locals can surely relate given the recent local heat wave that has been forecast to continue until at least next weekend.
