Koch hit with massive recall effort.

Stop and Shop’s corporate sibling Giant Foods unilaterally initiated the recall and which was brought to Quincy Quarry’s attention by a Citizen Journalist food shopper.

Unfortunately for long suffering Quincy residents and especially even more put upon local taxpayers, however, the recall was instead a recall of various Koch Foods products over concerns about possible salmonella contamination rather than a recall election of Quincy’s peerless gourmand and mayor Thomas P. Koch.

The prepared fast food products recalled from store shelves included Koch Oven Cravers Broccoli & Cheese®,  Koch Oven Cravers Chicken Parmesan® and  Koch Oven Cravers Cordon Bleu®. 

Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch (no apparent relation, ed.) for comment about food cravings, but then figured why give him a head’s up about this recall effort.

Regardless, expect Quincy Quarry to continue follow this and other stories that may or may not have implications for Quincy.
