B-52’s are heading back out on tour in the Middle East and will be featuring their classic hits.

Just in from Quincy Quarry’s media colleagues at DuffleBlog.com comes word that the B-52’s will be hitting the airways in coming weeks while on their just announced 2016 and maybe even longer ISIS Tour.

B-52 fans can expect to see classic big hits such as “Iraq Lobster” and “Love Shack Destroyed” as the B-52’s do their thing during one night tour stops that will likely include Mosul, Baiji, and Fallujah.

While the shine of the aluminum during their youth is long gone, “the B-52s are expected to bring down the house,” not to mention that “… fans say they always ‘blow the roof off the place.'”

Still, “… not everyone is excited for the ISIS tour.  Many people are openly criticizing the B-52’s for performing way past their prime and think that younger, hotter bombers should get an opportunity to bring something new to the war zone.”

In response, one key b-52 backer noted that “(w)e see it all the time.   Think of The Rolling Stones, Hilary Clinton, and even with the A-10 Warthog.  All of them have been criticized for touring past their prime, but the B-52’s continue to put on a great show.”

So what if the BUFF is old enough to be the father to perhaps the grandfather of many members of its road crew, the B-52’s are still one of the most explosive shows around as well as were just recently refurbished with the expectation of their continuing to tour into at least the 2040’s and thus long after The Rolling Stones are gone, except – that is – for the already long undead Keith Richards.

Expect Quincy Quarry’s Military Affairs Desk to monitor events as well as cover any breaking developments as they explode.
